Small and mid-sized companies

Everyone's telling you to use AI. Nobody's telling you where.

You don't need a transformation. You need two or three things fixed by someone who's done it before, and an honest answer about the rest.

No pitch. We'll look at where your margin is actually going and tell you straight if we can help.

Sound familiar?

The signs that it's costing you.

01

The numbers show up on day twelve.

By the time you see the month, every decision in it has already been made.

02

Somebody retypes vendor invoices all day.

It's the most repeated task in the building and the one nobody can justify.

03

You know revenue by customer. You don't know profit by customer.

The P&L is one number for the whole company, so every customer looks the same.

04

Cash visibility ends Friday.

The forecast is a spreadsheet someone rebuilds on Monday and stops trusting by Wednesday.

05

You tried an AI tool and it quietly stopped being used.

Not because it was bad. Because nobody owned it and it never touched a real process.

06

The back office only gets bigger by hiring.

Every increase in volume costs you another person, so growth never gets cheaper.

How we work

Find the real problem, find the honest fix, then teach, choose, and make it stick.

  1. 01

    Find the real problem.

Usually it isn't the one you'd name first. We look at how work actually moves through the company, not the org chart.

  2. 02

    Find the honest fix.

Sometimes it's software. Often it's a process, a definition, or one report that nobody has ever built. The cheapest fix that works is the right one.

  3. 03

    Teach it to your team.

If it only runs when we're here, it isn't a fix. Your people learn the thing, not just the output.

  4. 04

    Pick what's worth doing.

Every idea gets weighed against what it costs and what it returns. Some make the list. Most don't.

  5. 05

    Make it stick.

A named owner, a schedule, and a way to tell whether it's still working six months from now.

You leave knowing the real problem, the cheapest fix that works, and a setup your team can run without us in the room.

Straight talk

I'll tell you when to do nothing.

Most of what's being sold to you as AI right now is a spreadsheet with better marketing. I'll tell you which of it is real, which of it is worth paying for, and which of it you can ignore for another two years.

I spent a long career inside large companies where the reporting was good, the processes were documented, and someone owned every number. None of that takes a Fortune 500 budget. Most of it is available to a company your size today, and that's the work.

Sometimes the answer is that you're in better shape than you think and you don't need me. I'd rather say that on a call than after an invoice.

Start with a look, not a project.

Take the ten-question diagnostic, or just send an email describing what's bugging you.
